Woodlands Apartment

Woodlands Apartment is a chic and elegant complete internal renovation to an apartment in a heritage-listed building. Woodlands was designed in 1939 and completed in 1940 but unfortunately the building has been in a state of disrepair since then. In the 1990s this apartment went through a colourful renovation where the garage was converted into a subterranean room and upstairs painted with a gaudy palette. This renovation brought the apartment up to code in several areas and restored the apartment within the original design ethos of the Art Deco movement. Woodlands is an exemplar of how higher density amenity can be improved within a heritage context.
