Ventuino is the Italian word for 21. The project comprises alterations and additions to an existing Bronte home for two clients who loved its character but wanted to make it their own. Playful arches found within the original house are reinterpreted and emphasised throughout the design.
The project also takes cues from Bronte Beach and its history, including the Surf Life Saving Club and the distinctive structures perched along the coastline. The new addition sits upon the existing house in a similar spirit—retaining what is valued while thoughtfully adapting the home to support a relaxed, contemporary life by the beach.
