About Scott Flett
Scott Flett is the founder and director of Flett Architecture, a practice creating thoughtful, finely crafted residential architecture.
As a registered architect and licensed builder, Scott combines design inspiration with building excellence. His approach balances creativity, functionality, buildability and attention to detail.
His work is characterised by restrained forms, natural materials and a considered response to site, climate and context. Each project begins with how its occupants want to live and develops through close collaboration with clients, consultants and builders.
Scott has held leadership roles within the profession and served as a Technical Working Group representative to the Australian Building Codes Board. In 2023, he received the Australian Institute of Architects Emerging Architect Prize for Tasmania, recognising his contribution to architecture, professional leadership and design excellence.
Based in Chippendale and working across New South Wales and Tasmania, Flett Architecture creates enduring homes that are practical to build and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.
